Woodfired for 83 hours in the groundhog kiln at The Barn Pottery in Devon. Woodfired pieces have been through a lot in the firing, and there may be burrs or variations in surface. These are considered desirable and not a flaw.
A really lovely example of what the kiln is capable of, there is no glaze on the vase just the results of an atmospheric firing - ash, salt and reduction.
